FAQ

1.Why the Sole of Platform Slippers can't be too soft?

Because Platform Slippers sole need rebound, arch support, and side stability — not just cushion.

Ultra-soft EVA sole feel great at first, but it can flatten quickly, lose height, and make the foot wobble on a 4cm+ sole.
That can lead to more complaints about poor support, unstable walking, and cheap quality.

* Avoid using full soft EVA sole: It can collapse and lose rebound after short wear.

* Use dual-density EVA: Softer EVA on top for the cloud feel; firmer EVA underneath for support.

* Sole flexibility : Keep the front third flexible, but make the midfoot and heel more stable.

* Sidewall design: Add enough side strength to reduce left-right wobble.

The main risk is a high sole with poor foot hold.

A 7cm+ sole raises the foot far above the ground. If the upper is too loose, the foot can slide on the footbed, and the tall sole makes that movement feel even more unstable.

* Upper: Keep the vamp close enough to hold the foot, but not so tight that it presses the instep.

* Footbed shape: Let the foot sit slightly into the footbed instead of sitting flat on foobed.

* Sole hardness: Use firmer EVA so the platform does not collapse sideways.

* Outsole width: The bottom of sole should be a bit wide than top of sole, aims to make it more stable

* Sole shape: The front parr of sole is slight lower than back

Many shoppers want the same cozy platform look without delicate suede care, tight entry, or narrow fit.

* Make the upper easier to care for: Use premium faux suede with water and stain repellent treatment to reduce marks from rain, mud, and spills.

* Make the lining more practical: Use high-density antimicrobial fleece for plush warmth, odor control, and easier daily care.

* Make the fit more forgiving:** Build on a wide-fit last with more toe room and extra instep space, so more customers can slip in comfortably.

We test every batch for anti-flattening, stable walking, and strong bonding before shipment.

* Anti-flattening: EVA or high-rebound PU is kept at 40–45 Asker C. Too soft can collapse fast; too hard can feel stiff.

* Stable walking: The forefoot bends naturally, while the arch and heel stay firm to reduce wobbling.

* Strong bonding: Each bonded sole layer must reach ≥ 3.5 N/mm peel strength before bulk shipment.
