FAQ
1.Can Sneaker Slippers use one-size-fits-all sizing?
One-size-fits-all is only recommended for budget styles (under $19.99) to lower SKU count, MOQ, and purchase volume.
However, because men’s higher insteps require a wider opening and women’s smaller heels tend to slip out, branded/premium styles should use a tiered dual-gender sizing system to reduce return rates.
Tiered Sizing Chart:
Size S/M: US Men’s 4–7.5 / Women’s 5.5–9
Size L: US Men’s 8–10.5 / Women’s 9.5–12
Size XL: US Men’s 11–13
2.Can Sneaker Slippers work for wide feet and high insteps?
Yes. Use soft footbed edges, 55D–60D memory foam, and a flexible collar opening.
* Soft footbed edges: Do not add hard binding around the footbed. It may make the shoe look more structured, but wide feet can feel pinched.
* 55D–60D memory foam: Use firmer memory foam than standard 40D to give better support without making the slipper feel hard.
* Flexible collar opening: Widen the entry or add elastic stretch so high-instep feet can slide in without top pressure.
3. How can Sneaker Slippers keep a plush feel without flattening fast?
Use a three-layer midsole: memory foam for softness, high-resilience foam for rebound, and EVA for base support.
* 5mm 45D–50D memory foam: Gives the soft first step-in feel and lets the foot settle into the slipper.
* 5mm high-resilience foam: Adds bounce-back, so the memory foam does not stay compressed too quickly.
* 5–6mm EVA base: Keeps the foot away from the hard floor and helps the slipper hold its shape over time.
4. How should Sneaker Slippers be built for light outdoor use?
Use a thin EVA or TPR outsole. It should protect the slipper outside, but still feel soft indoors.
Dot-grip fabric bottoms are fine for indoor use. But they can soak up moisture and wear down quickly on concrete. For quick trips outside, use a molded outsole instead.
* Material: EVA or TPR.
* Weight: Keep the outsole under 150g for Men’s US 9.
* Sidewall: Keep it low, with a 5–8mm raised edge to lift soft uppers off wet ground.
* Noise: Use a softer compound to reduce clicking on wood floors.
